How do you turn LinkedIn posts into booked sales calls?
The short answer
Give readers a reason to raise their hand, then follow up. The system we run has four steps: a lead magnet post invites comments, a DM delivers the resource, a landing page captures the email, and readers with a real problem get a clear next step to book a call. Posts alone build attention. The steps after them turn it into pipeline.
The four steps
- The lead magnet post. A post that teaches something useful and offers a free resource (a guide, checklist or playbook) to anyone who comments a keyword.
- The DM. Everyone who comments gets a direct message with the link. Automation handles the volume so nobody waits.
- The landing page. The link goes to a page for that resource, which asks for an email before handing it over. A comment becomes a named, contactable lead.
- The booking step. Readers with a real problem get a clear, easy way to book a call, at the moment they already trust you.
The ratio that keeps it working
Ask for something in every post and people stop reading. Our monthly mix is 8 lead magnet posts and 16 authority posts: one ask for every two posts that simply give. The authority posts build the trust that makes the ask land.
What it looked like for one client
Wallace Darling, a tax and accounting specialist, started with 800 followers and no way to turn readers into conversations. Over 90 days of this system he reached 4,000 followers and 40 qualified inbound leads from content alone. The full breakdown is on the case studies page.
Doing it yourself
You can run this yourself. Start with one resource, one landing page and one lead magnet post, and decide how readers book a call before you post. We published the exact post format we use: the Lead Magnet Post Skill.
If you'd rather have it built and run for you, that's the whole job of our LinkedIn lead generation agency.
