The buyers you already knoware in one file nobody opens

Every connection you've made is in a spreadsheet LinkedIn will send you in a few minutes, with their company, job title and the date you connected. Claude reads all of it and hands you the 100 people you should already be talking to.

Your warmest list is the one you already have

By the end of this you'll have every connection scored against your buyer, and a first message ready for the top 100.

Most founders have a few hundred buyers sitting in their connections. They accepted a request two years ago, maybe liked a post once, and nobody ever followed up. They know your name, which already puts them ahead of any cold list.

Going through 3,000 connections by hand takes days, so nobody does it. Claude does it in a few minutes.

What's inside

  1. Where the export lives and what to tick so it arrives fast
  2. The skill that scores every connection from 0 to 100
  3. The buyer file you fill in once so the scoring fits your business
  4. The optional step that adds company size for your top 300
  5. 3 first messages for old and new connections that don't read like a pitch
  6. A weekly routine to work through the list 20 people at a time

02 · Get the export

Request it in 2 minutes

Do this on desktop. It's the same for free and Premium accounts.

  1. Click Me (your photo, top right), then Settings & Privacy.
  2. Open Data privacy, then Get a copy of your data.
  3. Pick the option to choose specific files and tick Connections only. The smaller the export, the faster it arrives.
  4. Click Request archive and confirm your password.
  5. LinkedIn emails you when it's ready. Download the zip and find Connections.csv inside.

03 · Score it

Every connection, scored 0 to 100

The skill reads your buyer file, then scores every row from the job title and company alone.

  1. Download connections-pipeline.zip below and don't unzip it.
  2. In Claude, go to Customize > Skills, click +, then Upload a skill, and pick the zip.
  3. Turn on code execution in Settings > Capabilities so it can read the CSV and save the result.
  4. Start a chat, attach Connections.csv and say "use the connections-pipeline skill". The first time, it asks the questions in buyer.md and saves your answers.

What the output looks like (made-up people)
3,104 connections read: 212 Buyers, 388 Maybes, 641 Peers, 1,863 Skips. 147 of the Buyers connected over a year ago.

name | position | company | connected | score | tier
Sarah Lee | Founder & CEO | Northbridge Advisory | 2023-04 | 80 | Buyer
Mark Osei | Managing Partner | Osei & Co Accounting | 2024-11 | 75 | Buyer
Priya Shah | Head of Growth | Fintory (450 staff) | 2022-02 | 60 | Buyer
Tom Becker | LinkedIn Ghostwriter | Freelance | 2025-06 | 0 | Peer

You get pipeline.csv with every connection, its score, tier, the reason and a first message for the top 100. Read the Buyers before you send anything, since the skill only sees a job title and a company name.

04 · Optional

Add company size for your top 300

Skip this if your buyer is defined by job title. Do it if company size decides whether someone can afford you.

The export has company names but no headcount. Take your top 300 by score and run their profile links through a profile scraper, like harvestapi/linkedin-profile-scraper on apify.com at about $4 per 1,000 profiles, or the enrichment tool you already pay for.

The prompt
Here's the enrichment export for my top 300 connections. Add company headcount and industry to pipeline.csv, re-score them with the real size against my buyer file, and tell me who moved in or out of the Buyer tier and why.

05 · First messages

Openers that don't read like a pitch

The skill picks one of these for each Buyer and fills it in from their row. No pitch, no link, no calendar.

Old connection, never spoken
Hey {first name}, we've been connected since {year} and I don't think we've ever actually talked. Saw you're {position} at {company} now. How's {a problem your buyer has} going on your side?
Recently connected
Hey {first name}, thanks for connecting. Curious, what's taking most of your time at {company} right now?
When they've posted something recently
{First name}, saw your post about {topic}. {One honest line about it}. How are you handling {a related problem}?

For the third one, give Claude something real, like a post of theirs you've read. It never invents one.

06 · Weekly routine

20 a day, Monday to Thursday

80 messages a week to people who already know your name adds up fast.

WhenWhat you do
Monday to ThursdaySend 20 first messages, Buyers first, oldest connections first
FridayPaste the replies into the chat. Claude updates each person's status and writes the follow-ups
Every quarterRequest a new export and re-run it, so new connections get scored too

Only offer a call once someone has described a problem you solve in their own words. Until then, keep asking about them.
